Hennessey Performance Engineering’s HPE700 is a Bastard!

If you ever wanted a flaming love child for a car, you will find it in the Hennessey Performance Engineering’s HPE700. The car is a cross between the standard 2010 Camaro SS and the Corvette ZR1. The car looks sleek and beautiful and even comes with awesome features, which will wow you to hell.

The car comes with 15″ ceramic brakes, faux hideaway headlights and much more, and is designed to suit the tastes and needs of the rich and the famous. The HPE700 will cost $109,50 and is definitely an expensive car to buy and certainly hip looking.

So go ahead, and get this car before that annoying rival of yours at the club gets it! The car looks amazingly expensive and in fact, I would say the quoted price is too less for an elegant machine like this. Don’t fret and don’t think twice, but just go purchase when the beauty arrives in the showrooms.

Toyota Prius Comes with Solar Panels

If you were wondering what is happening in the league of luxury sedans, you must actually hear about Toyota Prius. Surprisingly, it has been fitted with a solar power roof which would help save energy and save environment. This is very important in times of global warming when most of the pollution is caused by cars and emissions.

All you would need to do is spend 1,450 Pounds and you could convert your Toyota Prius into a solar powered efficient car that would not only look good but would also be an environment saver. I would say, it would have bee only good if all the luxury cars come with solar panels on the top of their roofs.

Bentley’s Latest Luxury Car Shimmers

Bentley Continental is here to make you go bankrupt within a few instants. It costs $267,000 and would run at the speed of 204 MPH. The gas guzzler tax and delivery charges are extra. The car comes with some serious specifications like 6.0 litre W!” and also 621 HP. It also has 590 lb-ft of torque which suggest the car is more powerful than you can imagine.

The car looks as stylish as any Bentley and you could certainly drive down Mulholland Drive in Hollywood. It would be interesting to drive down the road and feel the pinch of tragedies that have taken place there. If you can’t drive till Hollywood, any classy shopping area would be good enough to ride this car.

Smallest luxury car

Considering the different constraints of this environment (lack of space, pollution…) his vehicle – CARAT – in accordance with today’s and tomorrow’s tendencies, offers an innovating architecture and concept.

Starting with an analysis of the inside of his vehicle, Alexeï notices an asymmetry in terms of space use, which will become the basis for the structure of his car, on the inside as on the outside.
The cockpit’s asymmetry thus gives the impression that the car is more or less long according to the side one is looking at.
This asymmetry can also be found in the way the doors open.

Finally, taking his inspiration from the luxury codes, Alexeï has given some elements of the car, like its lights, the appearance of set jewels.

Iran bans luxury cars from cheap gasoline

Iran’s government subsidizes the price of gasoline for the general public. Imagine gas prices at 40 cents a gallon instead of 4 dollars a gallon. Well that has come to an end for drivers who drive luxury cars in Iran. They cut off all luxury drivers from cheap gas.

I’m starting to wonder if we couldn’t learn a little by making people who drive SUV’s and Hummers pay a bit more at the pump. Call it the idiocy tax or something.Iran’s government subsidizes the price of gasoline for the general public. Imagine gas prices at 40 cents a gallon instead of 4 dollars a gallon. Audi luxury

Audis, Benzes, Beamers– these are all high performance cars first and luxury cars second. They became luxury cars, necessarily, because of how expensive they had to be to continue pushing the envelope performance-wise.

They’re expensive and for the little good they do here (appearance, style, etc) sure cost a lot, and because of their size and emissions, clog up the freeway and the air.

People in Los Angeles are very similar to their cars.

Every Friday and Saturday night the entire city gets dressed up in their church best to go to bars and clubs just to ignore each other. All the good looking people are– by and large– poorly employed and all the well-employed people are, by LA standards, pretty unattractive.

What you end up with is a sort of romantic Mexican stand-off, unless you’re either really, really good looking or really, really successful, or both– in which case you probably ride around in a wheelchair during the day to save the energy you’ll need for how much poontang you’re getting at night.

Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione

Alfa Romeo has always impressed us with its offerings and the 8C Competizione from the house is sure to enthrall all the fans. First shown at the 2006 Paris Auto Show, the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione raised a number of eyebrows.

Alfa Romeo was pulled out of the United States in 1995 and many rumors came our way about it’s coming back but all proved to be bogus. But now, the automaker has chosen this weekend’s Meadowbrook Concours d’Elegance luxury car show to mark its comeback with the 8C Competizione supercar. The new 8C flagship touts a carbon fiber body, a 450hp 4.7L V8 engine and a six-speed paddle-shifter transmission.

Alfa is also expected to launch its 159 Sedan and Brera Coupe in 2009. The company has some most stylish cars in the European market and it’s time to see some gorgeous ones on the U.S. roads. Priced at $200,000.

The new edition Veyron brings back to life the special relationship between Emile Hermès and Ettore Bugatti of the 1920’s.It will feature a unique interior crafted by Hermes with minor changes on the exterior.

The collaboration between BUgatti and Hermes reminds of the one between Lamborghini and Versace in an attempt to create “more exclusive product.”

The last specials edition from Bugatti, the Pur Sang, was a real success and sold out in just a few days.

Luxury Car Brands at Luxury Prices

Earlier this week, Forbes announced the most anticipated luxury cars of 2008. How do we know these cars are ultra-luxurious and just down-right special? It’s simple. They’re ultra-expensive. In fact, most of them already have a two-year waiting list.
Forbes reports that each of these cars will have significant impacts on the brands they represent, which will outpace the impact of their corresponding sales volumes. I think that’s a very interesting comment and probably quite accurate. At $412,000 and with a two-year waiting list, Rolls-Royce’s 2008 Drophead Coupe (the quintessential convertible), will do more to hype their image as a car company for the rich and powerful than it will for their bottomline. These cars are meant to represent quality (i.e., extravagance) not quantity (i.e., most people can’t afford them).

We Have Proof! Luxury Cars Help You Meet Women.

We've long suspected that the right car might help get a woman's attention. Finally, we've got scientific proof. The confirmation comes courtesy of a British psychologist's study in which he tested the sexually arousing effects of a Maserati, Lamborghini, Ferrari, and VW engine on men and women. By taking saliva samples, doctors found significant increases in testosterone, the hormone indicating sexual arousal, among women.

In fact, the study found a noticeable increase among 100% of the women tested when they heard the revving Maserati engine. He also found the VW Polo engine actually led to a decrease in testosterone in some cases. So there you have it, people. Science confirming what we already knew. It still feels good to hear it sometimes. We've long suspected that the right car might help get a woman's attention. Finally, we've got scientific proof.
